London is full of landmarks. They’re what define the city to any tourist. Being a tourist for the first year here made me see them this way. So I had to draw them.
I started drawing City Spheres as a way to capture all these landmarks differently. I think I was simultaneously working on a project that involved spherical sets, so work inadvertently influenced this art. Cairo was next, then Alexandria.
Again, I was following a pattern of cities I’ve lived in. There are still a lot to go through, but this is as far as I’ve gotten.
